Chimney Rock Painted in Gold

Behind the Shot.

Embarking on a challenging hike to an undisclosed location, I reached the summit of Owl Creek Pass near Ridgway, Colorado. The expansive landscape unfolded beneath the warm embrace of the setting sun, casting a golden glow on the vast sea of fall aspens below. A prominent rock formation emerged from the forest, and in the distance, snow-capped mountains hinted at the impending arrival of winter. The fleeting moments of this breathtaking scene made the journey and the view all the more special.
