Behind the Shot.
During a birthday trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, I ventured across the flat terrain, discovering captivating rocks and desert foliage. Just as the sun prepared to dip below the dunes, I seized the opportunity, capturing a sunstar at the crest. The rocks and plants in the foreground bathed in the warm glow of that fleeting but special moment, creating lasting memories. The desert foliage, tinged with brown and yellow, hinted at the fall season in the desert.
