Behind the Shot.

Embracing the beauty of a new day in the Colorado mountains, I found myself camping by a tranquil lake after a night spent under the stars. This wasn't my first visit; I had snowshoed to this very lake during a previous winter, but from a different vantage point. That frozen view lacked the charm that awaited me now. In the spirit of adventure and enjoying life beyond the lens, a friend had invited me to camp at this picturesque spot. As dawn broke, I ventured out early, greeted by a serene landscape. The soft glow of sunrise painted gentle strokes in the clouds, while distant peaks bathed in the morning sun reflected their majesty in the still mountain lake. A large rock in the foreground anchored the composition, adding depth to the scene and allowing me to savor the moment beyond the camera lens. It was a reminder that some experiences are meant to be lived and cherished, with photography serving as a beautiful bonus to capture the magic of the morning.
