Behind the Shot.

Exploring the enchanting Goblin Valley State Park in Utah, a landscape adorned with scattered sandstone pillars, I faced the challenge of capturing the essence of this mesmerizing place. Having visited many times before, the multitude of formations often made it difficult to isolate a single subject without the image becoming cluttered. However, on this particular occasion, serendipity played its part. As the sun emerged from behind a bank of clouds, I stumbled upon a captivating scene. A play of light and shadow highlighted a singular sandstone pillar, creating a moment of focused tranquility amid the surreal landscape. It was a fleeting discovery that transformed the complexity of Goblin Valley into a simple, yet captivating, composition.
